STATE XC QUALIFIERS! The girls team of Felycia Kerkman, Ava Hoffman, Kearsten Keogh. Anel Monasterio, and Emersyn Mlady finished 3rd at districts to qualify for state! Drew Martin was DISTRICT CHAMPION and qualified for state! Felycia Kerkman was 6th and Ava Hoffman finished 12th to qualify as individuals!
The door to the Art room might feel like Halloween, but it felt like Christmas when I opened the kiln after glaze firing these pottery pieces. Eighth graders from 1st Quarter did a great job with their pottery projects!!
District Cross Country today, $4 for Adults, $3 for students NO passes except for NSAA
West Holt Juniors and Seniors traveled to O'Neill Friday, October 11th to participate in a college fair hosted by Education Quest and O'Neill Public Schools. Students were able to visit with representatives from all over Nebraska and South Dakota as well as military personnel.

Mrs. Pistulka's 1st graders have been learning that people came to America from many lands.Our country is made up of many different cultures and customs.Everyone enjoyed playing "Elephant,Man,Ant", a game played by children in Indonesia that is similar to "Rock,Paper,Scissors".
Congratulations to the West Holt JH football team on their undefeated season! The boys did an awesome job!
8th Grade students will travel to NECC in Norfolk on Thursday October 24th. We will leave at 7 AM and return by approximately 3:30PM. Students will use results from a YouScience assessment to explore careers that might be a good fit for them.
They will tour the campus and eat lunch in the cafeteria. Please pay the office $5 prior to October 24th for lunch. If you have questions, please contact Mrs. Ruppert.
