
Track practice will begin after school Monday, March 3rd for all HIGH SCHOOL athletes except boys basketball players. If you played another sport this year, your physical is on file. If this is your only sport, make sure you have your physical turned in! If you don't know, see Mrs. Kraus. If you have other questions, see Mr. Kraus.


The 2nd graders heard many stories and a speech from our high school students! We appreciate that they took time from their busy schedules to be our Guest Readers! Thank you to Zach, Allie, Hudson, Daleni, Avery, and Aleigha!

Merri Schneider, with Northeast Community College, will be at WH on Monday, March 3rd to help students apply for admission. This is the first step in taking dual credit courses. Contact Mrs. Ruppert if you have questions.


The Girls on the Run season is right around the corner! Flyers were sent home on Thursday with all 3rd through 6th grade girls on how to register. Our first practice will be on Tuesday, March 11th from 3:30-4:45! Please reach out to Mrs. Gotschall if you have any questions!


West Holt Speech placed 7th in the highly competitive Battle Creek Braves Classic on Saturday. The meet featured multiple state championship and runner-up squads from the 2024 State Speech Meet. The meet had two sets of Varsity finals plus JV finals.

The Huskies will have two competitions next week. They will travel to Norfolk for the Lutheran High Northeast Eagle Classic on Friday and the Ainsworth Invite on Saturday.

State Wrestling update:
Keagan had to injury forfeit. Bad deal but he stayed tough.
Ian lost his 1st round consolation match and is eliminated. Great season to Ian!
Grant won his first round consolation match, then lost his second round consolation match. He is also eliminated. Grant had an awesome season as well.

Spanish III is working on word analysis as they do final preparations before taking the STAMP test to try to earn their Nebraska Seal of Biliteracy.
