Reading makes you smarter! Keep reading sixth graders. We don't care where or how you read - JUST READ!

The Advanced History class will soon be moving on to their last book of the year. They will be reading Changes in the Land by Historian William Cronon. This environmental history book discusses the impact Native Americans and early colonists had on North American soil. This is a great read for anyone interested in early agriculture!

The Elementary Student Council is hosting Kindness Week this week! Each day has a new challenge to spread joy and to be friendly! The council members also decorated the sidewalk with kind messages to help start everyone's day off on a positive note! Every member had a task this week. Some wrote scripts to announce over the intercom while others helped gather ideas to write outside and made posters. Go be great, Huskies!

Mr. Hale shared his eclipse glasses and ventured outside with a group of students. It was chilly and cloudy, but they got a small glimpse of the eclipse when there were breaks in the clouds.
