Junior High golf begins on Monday, March 18. There will be a parent meeting for these golfers that evening in the Lecture Hall at 6 pm.

The Advanced History class has started their next book. We are reading The River of Doubt by Candice Millard. This book discusses the historical life of Teddy Roosevelt and highlights his famous expedition down the Amazon River after his election defeat in 1912. We definitely recommend this book!

West Holt hosts the C1-5 District Speech Competition today! Rounds begin at 9:00 AM Use these QR codes to get to the finals presentation and schematic. Awards are scheduled to begin around 6:15 PM.

After two weeks of hard work, the 4th and 5th graders headed to the post office today to mail off their friendly letters!


West Holt will not have school Thursday or Friday due to Spring Break!

The elementary school celebrated Read Across America this week with dress up days and fun activities. Today we are jumping into Spring Break with mustache or mismatch day. Mrs. Gotschall's class embraced the mustaches today!


A team of sixth graders competed at two quiz bowl meets in February. They went to O'Neill and Neligh. It was so fun to see their excitement and competitiveness. They had fun.


We are celebrating Read Across America this week at school! Grab one of the many wonderful Dr. Suess books and "get on your way" to reading!
