The 6th graders were invited to Mrs. Leisy's zoology class to check out the living organisms found in pond water under the microscopes!
The cross country team completed a puzzle run today. They ran around the school and park collecting puzzle pieces. The blue team was the first team to collect (almost) all of their pieces. The wind may have taken a few.

The 5th grade "Food Scientists" have been busying experimenting with different ingredients. Their goal is to create a salad dressing using complimentary flavors that leave no sediments behind.

2023 County Government Day
21 juniors attended the 2023 version of county government day in O'Neill.
Are you trying to teach some cooking skills at home? Try these English Muffin Pizzas that Mrs. Doolittle's cooking class made! They were easy to make and tasted delicious!
Ingredients:
-4 Whole Wheat English Muffins, split and toasted
-1 and 1/2 cups pizza sauce
-1 to 2 cups shredded mozzarella
Directions:
Spread 2 tablespoons pizza sauce on each muffin half: add desired toppings. Sprinkle with cheese. Place on a large baking sheet. Bake in 400 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes.

A big shout out to Schmitz Produce for the wonderful pumpkins! This week is Pumpkin Science Week as we prepare to go on our field trip to Helgoths Pumpkin Patch. We talked about the parts of a pumpkin so we had exploring the inside of the pumpkin. Oh the giggles that we heard.
