Hello. Tomorrow HSVB with Boyd County will have 3 games. The C team will start at 5:00. 6:00 JV and around 7:00 for varsity
Changes for Thursday, 9/21 golf. The JV will be playing at 4:00 at the Ainsworth Golf Course. The varsity will be going to the Wayne Invite. Start time 9:00.
Homecoming Dress-Up Days
The Huskies were in action Tuesday at the Valentine Invite. The tournament was shortened to 9-holes due to a mountain lion captured on a trail cam on the course during play. The Huskies were 2nd. Individually, Daleni 3rd, Abby 5th, Catarina 8th, Brinley 10th & Ansley 3rd in JV
Fifth grade Social Studies made Totem poles and wrote about how the animals they chose represent who they are as a person.
Tonights HSVB game is at Vedrigre starting at 5:00.
WH JHVB B teams beat Burwell in two sets Monday night. The A team also beat Burwell but it took three sets. GO HUSKIES!!

The 2nd Graders will be going to Chamberlain, SD for our field trip! We will be going to the Dignity Statue, Lakota Indian Museum, and the Lewis and Clark Visitor Center. We are excited for our adventure!
The future is bright for WH VB - The West Holt JR VB teams at the Ainsworth Tournament. The A team were tournament champs and the B team was runner up!! Way to go Ladies!! So proud of this team!
Congratulations to the Golfers today on a good team effort at the Boone Central Invite. Runner up as a team. Individually, Brinley 8th & Daleni 6th in a 63 person field!
Huge thank you to the Husky Cross Country team today! They helped us finish our Cross Country unit by leading groups on a run outside around the school. The best part was the energy the kids had in their breakdown at the end. Good luck to them today as they compete in O'Neill.

IN PRE-K MAGNIFYING GLASSES ARE NOT JUST FOR SCIENCE! Magnifying glasses helped us search for letter Ll's in our "Mary Had a Little Lamb" rhyme/song. We ended this activity by adding "fleece as white as snow" to our lamb.
The 4th Grade class has been creating writing journals. They created covers that matched their personality, dedicated their journal to someone, and drew a treasure map that will guide them to writing a personal narrative!
