The senior boys in College Credit Technical Math have turned the SnapCircuit unit into a "What would happen if we did this?" unit. Their new goal is to generate enough power to get the fan to fly high enough to hit the gym ceiling. We'll keep you posted!

The JV season ended on a high note as all 7 players earned medals at the O'Neill JV tournament today. Madi Hilkemeier led the pack placing 1st with a 52. Shaylee Campbell 2nd, Alyssa Dobias 3rd, Aubrei Clouse 4th, Ansley Cadwallader 5th, Miya Carey 7th & Elizabeth Olson 8th!
The WH varsity grabbed another trophy as the were runner up at the Laurel C-C Invite today. Daleni was 2nd with an 83, Abby Mathis 7th at 101 & Brooklynn Butterfield took home the 9th medal with a 103. Wayne edged the Huskies 392-396.

The advanced Anatomy & Physiology class is currently covering the Human nervous system. The class covered the Central Nervous System involving the brain and spinal cord. When covering the brain, we focused on the different structures and parts of the brain along with the functions. Here the class is dissecting the sheep brain to gain a hands on experience of the structures covered in class.
Flag Football is canceled on 9-23 due to rain and lightning. See you next Saturday. Last week Bo Gotschall was the fantasy champ! Thanks to the high school boys who helped.

The Laurel golf meet has been postponed to Monday the 25th 9:00 am start.
The 7th grade and freshmen classes have been presenting speeches about themselves. The students have been very entertaining and fun to watch!
The 2nd graders were exploring the Lewis and Clark trail and wrote down things they found in their ABC dictionary today! We also made landform maps out of cookie dough! This information will come in handy for our field trip tomorrow!

The sixth grade class invited Ken Stenka and Daryl O'Sullivan to our class to talk about the American Flag. Ken and Daryl are both veterans. The sixth graders are in charge of raising and lowering the flag every school day.
