Happy Halloween from Mrs Pistulka's 1st grade class!


The Software Development class has been exploring coding in several forms, including color-based codes with Ozobot Evo robots.


The 3 year old preschoolers had a blast yesterday making crafts, eating popcorn and watching a movie for their Halloween party yesterday!


A friendly reminder, Miles of Smiles will be at West Holt on November 2nd. Please turn in the registration paper. If you need a registration paper, we do have them available in the office.


Rule Changes for 2023-24 Basketball Season!
No more 1 and 1 free throws. There will be 5 team fouls per quarter. On the 6th and subsequent team fouls, 2 free throws will be awarded. Fouls will reset at the beginning of the next quarter.
In Classes C & D, the 35 second shot clock may be used if both teams agree and the NSAA gives prior approval.
Players are eligible to play 7 quarters in a night. Other rule changes can be found at

From Aug 1 through November 1, first-year students can apply to UNL, UNK or UNO for free using the waiver code HUSKER at go.unl.edu/apply. On the final section of the application for admission, students wil enter the code in the field reserved for an application fee waiver code to bypass the $45 application fee.

The West Holt 6th and 7th grade bands took part in the Ainsworth Honor Band this past week. They worked hard to prepare the music and sounded fantastic!


Spanish classes are learning about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) as this important cultural celebration is this upcoming week on the first and second of November. Spanish III learned how to make calaveras de dulce (sugar skulls) this last week.


The Lady Huskies fell to Clarkson-Leigh and earned district-runner up. Thank you to everyone who supported the team throughout the season. It was a great year for Husky volleyball!
