Mrs. Olson's first graders dressed in their Christmas best for their program on Dec. 14. Here are a few photos of some of them. Looking sharp!

The Functional Skills class took a time out and created a little holiday cheer by decorating Gingerbread Houses of their very own! They also enjoyed hot chocolate and frosting sugar cookies!

Can we get a hand for our custodians who work to clear the snow from our school grounds? Thanks Tracy, Ken, Fred, Mark, and Shayden! We appreciate you!

The engineers in Mrs. Hale's kindergarten class have been studying force. They designed a box model of a pinball machine!

Mrs. Pistulka's 1st grade class enjoyed listening to "The Gingerbread Man Loose in the School" by Laura Murray. The students enjoyed an unexpected scavenger hunt around the school looking for him. Although they did not catch him, he did leave them a tasty treat.

West Holt currently has openings for an additional Ag Teacher and an elementary PE Teacher. More information at: http://tinyurl.com/WHEmployment

Earlier this month the 5th through HS bands and choirs performed their Christmas concerts. They all worked hard and sounded great!

Ainsworth can only play 2 quarters today so the varsity games will start closer to 4:00
Now that Christmas is over…I can finally post my 7th graders finished products! They did AMAZING! We all learned the new machines together! Sometimes it got hectic but I am so proud of them! It is the beginning to new adventures!

8th Grade students created "How to be a model citizen" posters before break, and wrote essays about "Why Citizenship Matters", also a bonus pic of Cousin Eddie on dress up day. Merry Christmas to all.

Our office staff had the awesome idea of having a different dress up theme for each day of the week. Here are some of the student participants in my classes.

Merry Christmas from the 2nd graders! We were in charge of the December Birthday Assembly and put on a play called "Santa's Sick!" The 2nd Graders did a marvelous job!

Sixth graders have been working hard in math. We just finished a unit on conversions. They have had "visions of conversion factors, unit rates, and ratios dancing in their heads."

The sophomores are half-way through To Kill a Mockingbird. Prior to reading, each sophomore gave a presentation over an aspect of the 1930s. David Armstrong's presentation was about music.

It's parachute day in Elementary PE!!
