Sixth graders have been working hard in math. We just finished a unit on conversions. They have had "visions of conversion factors, unit rates, and ratios dancing in their heads."
The sophomores are half-way through To Kill a Mockingbird. Prior to reading, each sophomore gave a presentation over an aspect of the 1930s. David Armstrong's presentation was about music.

The Employability class has been busy practicing their enterprising skills by making and selling hot chocolate bombs. They shopped for ingredients, made the mix, decorated, packaged, marketed, and sold out.

Mrs. Roemer's kindergarteners worked very hard on a critical thinking skills STEM activity. Their goal was to build a bridge that would carry the Gingerbread Man across the river. Assuring that he wouldn't be eaten by the Tricky Fox.
Last Friday the 3rd grade had a "growth party" to celebrate their growth from the first semester. These students showed astonishing growth in Reading and Math. Keep up the hard work!
